Sharon and Joe’s story is one of love (obviously). Not just their love for each other, but also the love they share for their family, their church, and their God. On their wedding day, they sure as heck got A LOT of love back! You could sense the love instantly upon entering Joe’s family home where the ladies were getting ready. All of them in adorable floral-print robes, sharing a fruit tray, and, of course, Belvita breakfast biscuits. They definitely set the fun, happy mood for the day! Sharon’s stunning dress (and that really cool hanger) made for some great photos. Seriously, how sleek and beautiful is THAT DRESS?! Joe’s totally rad brothers and amazing sisters were on both sides of the bridal party. We always love it when family is so close they become part of the bridal party of the spouse-to-be! All the friends and siblings added up to a bridal party of 20 dope people–and that’s not even including the couple or the little ones!
The church was an especially meaningful spot for the ceremony–as well as a few romantic portraits. Joe proposed at the beautiful fountain right outside of the Church (St. John the Baptist in Silver Spring, MD). It felt extra special when they began their married life in the very same spot. When a couple has a location that means so much to them, it makes for great emotions and great shots. Their portraits radiate love and happiness, which is definitely what you want on your wedding day!
After a colorful and inspiring ceremony, we all packed up and rode over to an awesome venue (The Villa in Beltsville, MD) for a crazy fun reception. Not a single detail was skipped in the place settings: cute little bottles covered in gold glitter, charming flowers, and an exquisite cake, with a super fun cake topper that let their doggos be a part of the day! Some of the best reception party photos Mod Frames has captured (to date) are from this party–gotta love those dance moves! After a baller glow stick exit, the party was over, and Joe and Sharon were off to Hawaii! Can you sense the jealousy in my typing? We had our honeymoon in Maui and completely fell in love with the island. (How could you not?!)
This wedding was fantastic. One for the ages 🙂
