I first met Becca and her Maid of Honor at the Baltimore Brides & Grooms Expo. I love going to expos and meeting so many happy engaged couples and their friends and families. This expo in particular led to a lot of great connections! The one downside to expos is that I don’t get to spend enough time with each couple, so we have to have quick chats. All I asked Becca was “what’s your wedding venue” and when she said “the Ottobar” (a rock music venue that I loved), I knew this was going to be an epic and straight-up badass wedding day! (Also her green hair and tattoos were on point!) As expected, Becca chose a really cool spot for engagement photos: an old, abandoned, train station that is part of the Baltimore Streetcar Museum.
Getting to spend the wedding day with Becca and CJ and their closest friends a family was incredible. I felt welcomed by all of them (even though I only have one tattoo that no one could see). Some favorite parts of the day were their nighttime rooftop ceremony; Becca’s awesome hair; their adorable son playing with his ball during the ceremony; their vows involving “even in a zombie apocalypse” scenarios; their dope first dance song; hearing Toni Braxton, Earth, Wind, and Fire, Lamb of God, and Pantera all in one wedding reception; and Becca and father’s serenade to CJ. This wedding was cute AF and rock and roll at the same time! Take a look a few from this epic, Baltimore-as-hell wedding day.
